Eclipse Live Stream
NASA Television will air a four-hour show, Eclipse Across America, with unprecedented live video of the celestial event, along with coverage of activities in parks, libraries, stadiums, festivals and museums across the nation, and on social media.
NASA EDGE will join forces with the NASA Heliophysics Education Consortium, Southern Illinois University Carbondale, and Lunt Solar Systems to air a 4 hour 30-minute live webcast “Megacast” of the total solar eclipse from an area outside Saluki Stadium.
On the day of the eclipse go to www.nasa.gov/eclipselive(link is external), where you will be directed by default to the NASA TV broadcast. The broadcast starts at 12 noon EDT and will connect with many of the NASA broadcasts distributed across the country.
For 4 hours surrounding the eclipse, NASA will host an Eclipse Megacast providing unique broadcast coverage across multiple phenomenon programming, and allow NASA to interact with the scientists and members of the public across the country as they watch and study the eclipse. The Megacast will be picked up by NASA TV as well as many other local and national TV stations.
